Jotin Marango, MD, PhD

Dr. Jotin Marango is a seasoned expert with over 20 years of experience in finance, corporate development, and biomedical research. Most recently, Jotin served as a Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer & Head of Corporate Development at Ikena Oncology, where he was instrumental in capital raising and allocation, business partnerships, and strategic transactions. Jotin joined Ikena from Aptose Biosciences, where he served as Chief Financial Officer & Chief Business Officer, leading all finance and corporate development efforts, as well as licensing transactions. Previously, he worked as an equity research analyst covering small and mid-cap biotechnology companies focused on hematology, oncology, inflammation, and rare diseases. Throughout his academic and professional careers, Jotin has solidified a passion for the development of novel therapeutics and facilitating growth for companies looking to make a difference in the lives of patients with unmet needs. He holds a B.A. in Chemistry with Honors from Harvard University and earned his M.D. and Ph.D. from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine of New York University.
